I came from a family of educators. My dad was a retired high school teacher, and my mom is a chemistry teacher for 15 years now. Two of my grandparents were former elementary teachers. My older sister, my number one idol, has just finished her college degree in education. She is such a geek. I wonder how she finished all her papers, homeworks, long essays for every term. She is both a prolific writer and teacher all rolled into one.

I also started liking being the the  teaching profession since I was sent to Asia to do an outreach program for two weeks. I was asked to handle 5 kids and was tasked to teach them basic reading and writing.

I read a condensed version of "The Little Prince" for them and they seemed to like it. They asked amusing questions like, "What does the little prince look like?", "how short was he?" , "how did he come to earth?". Oh, their cute and innocent questions were just endless.

I think I will be a pre-school teacher in the future. I really love kids. I now know the essence of a educating the young minds.
